Training business leaders for more than a century
The Grande Ecole concept was first introduced in France with the aim of providing the French industrial, administrative and military elite with postgraduate education. Today HEC Paris (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) ranks among the prestigious Grandes Ecoles and trains students and business leaders from highly diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.


HEC Paris is founded by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), with the purpose of providing students with the necessary managerial skills to meet the challenges of industrial growth and booming financial markets.


The school moves to a 320-acre site in Jouy-en-Josas, near Versailles, to create and promote a “ campus” spirit.


The CPA (Advanced Business Studies Center) and the CRC (Research and Study Center for Company Managers), merged with HEC Management to give birth to HEC Paris Executive Education.
Launch of the TRIUM Global Executive MBA, a unique alliance of three internationally renowned universities - HEC Paris, LSE (London School of Economics) and NYU Stern (New York University, Stern School of Business).


The CPA degree becomes the HEC Paris Executive MBA and receives the prestigious AMBA accreditation. 


The Chinese version of the HEC Paris Executive MBA, is launched in Beijing under the auspices of SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council).

TRIUM is ranked #1 Executive MBA in Europe by the Financial Times.


Launch of the Advanced Management Program in Fashion & Luxury program to further establish the presence of HEC Paris Executive Education in China.

The HEC Paris Executive MBA is run in English for the first time.
